She is a powerful positive speaker in the state & India. For the past 15 years she has been providing skill building training for people living with HIV and AIDS all over India. She has been involved in many national and state advocacy programs. She has been involved in motivating people living with HIV and AIDS to form new networks in the irrespective district at Karnataka and trained PLHIV members in south region (specially in Tamil nadu). In the board (State level network of Karnataka), she has served as General Secretary for 5 years. She was instrumental in the formation of Karnataka network for Positive People (KNP+).
At the national level she has been actively involved in media and workplace advocacy. She has also been involved with various stakeholders at the state and national level to organize meetings, trainings and workshops. She has developed good linkages at the state and national level to mobilize resource for the conducting workshop at the state level. She has also trained and motivated many people living with HIV and AIDS who have turned out as potential Positive Speakers of the State. She is also an active member of the Positive Women Network under which she has implemented a project titled “Capacity Building Workshop” in 7 district of Karnataka to empower the women. She worked as a National Advocacy Officer and National Women Forum Coordinator at Indian Network for People Living with HIV and AIDS (INP+). Since two year she is working as an independent consultant from different PLHIV network, NGO and others. I am one of the board members of NCPI+.
